Re-Imagining Linux Platforms to Meet the Needs of Cloud Service Providers

"Linux is too hard. Linux is too different. Linux
doesn't have this or that program. Linux is not compatible with x
or y or z. Linux is blah blah blah....
"People come up with all of these reasons to explain why they
don't use Linux. But really they are not reasons at all but simply
excuses for laziness. You might even think that with all the tripe
that is trotted out that most people don't have the intelligence to
be able to use Linux.
"I don't believe that is true any more than you do. People are
intelligent. Yet, when it comes to computers, any bit of related
knowledge, acumen or willpower seems to be sucked into some
interspacial black hole. People can run companies, countries, teach
high level education or perform complex tasks which save lives and
increase our standard of life. However, put these people in front
of a computer and they can't, for the life of them, find the file
they just saved. It is like they turn into a drooling 12 month old
baby as soon as they touch a keyboard. Yet, in all other things
electronic they are like ducks to water."
