Re-Imagining Linux Platforms to Meet the Needs of Cloud Service Providers

"Samsung today gave speed-obsessed smartphone consumers something new to ponder, announcing that its Galaxy S 4G smartphone -- which it claims will be the fastest smartphone running on T-Mobile's 4G network -- will be available sometime in the next few weeks.

"Samsung generated a great deal of buzz earlier this month at the Consumer Electronics Show when it unveiled a Wi-Fi-only version of its Galaxy Tab and offered a preview of its forthcoming Infuse 4G smartphone. The company is following up with claims that the Galaxy S 4G model will deliver peak download speeds of 21 Mbps via T-Mobile's HSPA+ network.

"Along with the speed, Galaxy S 4G will feature all the bells and whistles available from the Android 2.2 (Froyo) mobile operating system and a super AMOLED touchscreen display."
