“The Linux(R) user takes pride in the open-source operating
system they have developed. EBIZ will appeal to members of the
Linux(R) community through services and features that are highly
targeted. As part of this effort, the company has developed
LinuxWired.net, a full service community portal. The Linux
Service portal includes the first “Pure” Linux(R)-based ISP, which
is scheduled to launch in February 2000. The ISP will provide
unlimited dial-up service for Linux(R)-based computer systems

for $16.95 per month and provide a host of Internet portal
features, including news, content, message boards and free services
such as e-mail forwarding, home page-redirect and a job posting
service. EBIZ will generate revenues both through user fees and
advertising on the website.

“While we initially contemplated an acquisition to bring these
Linux Community Services to market, I am very pleased and proud to
say our dedicated and talented team came together and developed
internally much more for a fraction of the cost of an acquisition,”
said Jeffrey Rassas, founder and CEO of EBIZ Enterprises, Inc.”
