BW: Evergreen and Caldera Deliver Linux E-Business Solution, OpenLinux eBuilder With ECential

“Evergreen Internet Inc., the leader in 100 percent open
standards, distributed e-commerce components, and Caldera
Systems(TM) Inc. (Nasdaq:CALD), the “Linux for eBusiness” leader,
Tuesday announced a strategic alliance to deliver the first fully
integrated, open standards-based Linux for E-Business solution,
OpenLinux(TM) eBuilder.”

“As part of the agreement, Caldera will license and
distribute Evergreen’s ECommerce Components and Services Platform,
ECential(TM) as part of it’s OpenLinux eBuilder e-commerce suite,
which also includes IBM’s WebSphere(TM) Standard Edition,
VisualAge(TM) Java(R) 3.0, and MySQL(TM).”

“The integration of ECential(TM) with OpenLinux delivers a
powerful, open standards-based platform to build any
Business-to-Business and Business-to-Consumer solution centered
around Java(TM), XML, Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB(TM)), and Open Java
Database Connectivity (JDBC).”
