“Last week the largest LinuxWorld Conference & Expo in its
history took place in New York City with over 20,000 attendees and
185 exhibitors turning out for the show’s East Coast debut. The
show turned up the volume on the impact the Linux industry is
having on the stock market as share prices showed a marked rise
during the Linux community’s visit to the Big Apple.”

The success of this show clearly demonstrates the powerful
momentum the Linux industry is building
,” said Charlie Greco,
president and CEO, IDG World Expo. “In one year, we have
exponentially grown this event to be the premiere Linux-only event
in the industry and garnered the attention of the financial
community with this first New York event.”
