strategic relationship with Newlix Corporation to distribute its
Newlix OfficeServer. This Linux-based Network Operating
System(NOS) targets the industry’s hottest growth
opportunity_networked Internet access.
Newlix Office Server
delivers an outstanding array of ‘set-and-forget’ performance
features into a reliable andcost-effective NOS that runs on
standard Intel-based hardware.”

“The Newlix OfficeServer features plug-and-play software
installation,” says 3D Microcomputers president, David Wong. “It
also includes easy-to-use, web-based configuration tools that
makeit much simpler to install and manage a network. And it’s a
fraction of the price of competing systems.”

“Designed for rapid deployment in a mixed platform environment,
Newlix OfficeServer supports Windows, Macintosh, Linux and Unix
clients. Functions include file and printer sharing, Internet
gateway, VPN (Virtual Private Network) server, secure firewall,
mail server, web server, fax server and powerful remote
administration tools. “
