EMUTECH2000: Linux Review

“As many of you may already know, Linux is a fast growing,
stable, multi-tasking and 32bit(sometimes 64bit) operating system.
Linux is special not really because of the above features, but
because of the fact that it is Open Source. Open Source means that
you have the source code, you can edit it and claim it as your own
and you can sell it for as much money as you like, but there is
just one problem. You still have to distribute the source code,
allow the recipient to edit it and claim it as their own, sell it
for as much money as they like and so forth. Which is a bit of a
‘bummer’ for the big corporations that Linux is taking by
surprise!”

In this review I will be testing out the 2 largest Linux
distributions out there. Redhat Linux 6.1 Deluxe vs. SuSE Linux
6.3! I will not be delving into advanced configuration and web
server setup etc, but more of the Installation, configuration and
use of Linux.
