“This post will go through the steps to making and running a
live CD. I believe anyone could follow these directions! If you
haven’t tried Linux before, or it has been some time, please do
what this post says. Linux is a very fine Operating System that has
matured a lot. First off I’ll have to do some explaining. This post
should really be called Intro to Linux, but to make things easier
off, I’m going to do the picking for you. I also have an old post
call Switching to Ubuntu, this is basically a Absolute Beginners
Version of that.

“Linux is technically a kernel and the Operating System is named
Linux/GNU, but to the average person this means nothing and it
should stay that way… it doesn’t matter at all…”
