“The All-Linux All-Star team is ready to take the field.
TeamLinux Corp., a professional services company that uses Open
Source and Linux technology to enable its business solutions,
acquired its fourth company in the four weeks since its inception
in late March.
Three-Sixteen Technical Services, a Linux
technical services company based in Austin, Texas, offers
introductory and advanced Linux administration classes in addition
to design, installation and administration services. The
acquisition was announced April 26.”

“TeamLinux intends to expand those programs nationally to meet
the continually growing demand for personnel familiar with Open
Source and Linux. TeamLinux also intends to use Three-Sixteen’s
service resources “to address known gaps in the current Open Source
and Linux support services,” according to Dan Maher, TeamLinux
chairman and CEO.”

“It is still far too early in the game to tell whether TeamLinux
can go the distance. TeamLinux boasts an impressive number of
successful implementations on its Web site and is already partnered
with such established companies as SuSE, Hewlett-Packard, Novell,
TurboLinux and others. These partnerships, combined with
TeamLinux’s early acquisitions, indicate that this Linux team is in
to win.”
