LinuxPR: Marc Torres Joins Atipa as Chief Technology Officer

Involved in Linux since 1992, Torres currently serves on
advisory boards of the Linux Professional Institute, Linux Open
Hardware Certification project, the Atlanta Linux Showcase and
several other professional organizations.

“Atipa announced today that Marc Torres is the Chief Technology
Officer of Atipa Linux Solutions. He brings to Atipa thirteen years
of multi-platform UNIX experience, specialties in Network
Management and Systems Architecture, having previously served as
President of SuSE Inc. In his new position, Torres will lead the
research and development arm of Atipa, as well as act as a strong
bridge to the Linux community and its developments.”

“Atipa presented a new challenge for me professionally. By
accepting this leadership role I am committed to developing a whole
new suite of technology innovations to complement the existing
Atipa solutions,” said Torres. “Expanding our research and
development teams and leading them to new levels of achievement is
my first priority.”
