“Welcome to the Eleventh edition of PerlMonth. We like to
apologize for the long delay in launching this issue. We have nine
articles this month, that’s the most amount of articles we have had
in any month. I’d like to thank all the writers who volunteered
their precious time to write such excellent articles.”

“This month we have three differnent articles on the various
Templating systems used for mod_perl.”

  • HTML::Mason
  • HTML::Embperl
  • HTML::Template

“People are always asking questions such as what is the best
system to use. Read about the different technologies and how it can
be used directly from the creators. Gerald Richter, author of
HTML::Embperl, starts a two part series on using Embperl. Sam
Tregar, author of HTML::Template, also starts a series of articles
on Building Web Sites with HTML::Template.
And Jonathan Swartz
finishes up his three part series on Programming with HTML::Mason.
It’s great to have a choice from a bunch of quality
modules….”
