Tonight LIVE on www.thelinuxshow.com
At 6pm pt, 7pm mt, 8pm ct, and 9pm et…. Kevin Hill, Jeff
Gerhardt, Doc Searls (Linux Journal), Arne Flones and Russ
Pavlicek; have another strange and wonderful show lined up tonight
on The Linux Show!!
Segment One- The News. We will cover
THE HOT NEWS of the last few weeks tonight. In
particular, the buzz on “free” Star Office getting pulled and
re-packaged, plus
Segment Two- AOTC Update. Today we announce the
OFFICIAL beginning of the fund raising phase of the AOTC. We do
NOT mean the “Attack of the Clones”, but the
American Open Technology Consortium, our efforts
toward political activism.
It is fitting that this past weekend was Memorial
Day in the United States. Memorial Day is a day when
people from the United States stand up, show patriotism and honor
those who came before and gave their time and sometimes their lives
in the cost of liberty. It is a special time when families get
together and celebrate our countries past triumphs and
tribulations.
We ask you today to join us in a continuation of that Memorial
Celebration, and you to step up and be counted. We ask that you
fill out a membership application and mail in a contribution.
Please join us on the show, and check our IRC
Chat(irc.thelinuxshow.com #linuxshow).
Remember tune in at 6pm pt, 7pm mt, 8pm ct, and 9pm et. NOTE: we
are now on Daylight Saving Time in the US.
