ZDNet: How to use FTP to copy a folder from the server?

“I am using Windows NT server. Does anyone know how to use FTP
to copy one file folder from the server machine?”

“If you want to download these files for whatever reason,
and you mounted the files to an actual mount point (not simply
looked at the files via a client), then you should be able to do a
cp -R”

“If you aren’t mounting in this way, download kruiser and
install it. It is already installed if you are using Mandrake 7.1.
Kruiser will let you get to your files in a Windows Explorer type
of fashion. You should then be able to bring up a file manager in
Linux and drag your folder over to it. I am fairly sure this will
work from KDE and kfm; not so sure about other products.”
