Motorola Computer Group Join Effort Officers of Leading Industry
Group, PICMG, Support Initiative”

“Natural MicroSystems (NASDAQ:NMSS), the technology leader in
Open Telecommunications(TM), today launched Open Source for Open
Telecom, a global initiative designed to expedite the
telecommunications industry’s migration to standards-based hardware
and software solutions through increased access to working source
code via the Open Source model.”

“Reflecting widespread support for the initiative,
telecommunications technology providers Ericsson, Lucent
Technologies Microelectronics Group and Motorola Computer Group
(MCG) have endorsed the effort and have designated key portions of
their respective software code as Open Source. The companies will
make source code used in the development of high availability
telecommunications systems accessible through the Open Source for
Open Telecom web site (www.opentelecom.org).”
