“Version 1.7 has a number of new features: Multiple Whiteboard,
you can have now multiple whiteboads in a single conference room.
That is quite handy and a long demand new feature. There is also a
new File-Explorer where you can manage your uploaded files in a
*explorer* style with folders, et cetera. Besides that you have
some *private drive* in th explorer that stays the same no matter
which room you enter. Also you can store now whiteboard drawings in
the File-Explorer and load it into the whiteboad again.

“In the SOAP-Gateway for integration there is now the
possibility to create an openmeetings user that has exclusively
access the the SOAP Gateway, but nothing more. So there is no need
anymore to use an admin account for the SOAP API, which is kind of
a security risk.”
