"Intershop Communications and Cobalt Networks have teamed up to produce an eCommerce appliance based on the Linux operating system. The offering, known as Intershop RaQ, enables ISPs to provide small to medium enterprises (SMEs) with a convenient and cost effective way of getting into on-line sales."

"Intershop RaQ consists of Cobalt's rack mountable RaQ server appliance and Intershop Merchant on Linux Red Hat 6.0. It comes pre-configured with Apache Web server and other components needed to provide the core web capability upon which developers can build their solutions. Load balancing and back office management tools are bundled for rapid deployment, scalability and reduced cost of ownership."
