"Atipa Linux Solutions announced today that Jeffrey Keenan, currently President of the Kansas City-based company, has been appointed Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Atipa. Keenan will apply nearly two decades of experience managing strategic growth as a senior executive and merchant banker on Wall Street to lead Atipa's growth in the Linux market. He came to Atipa from IESI Corporation where he served as Chairman since 1995."

"Keenan replaces Jason Talley, who is leaving Atipa to explore new career opportunities and personal pursuits. Talley, who led Atipa's first phase of growth from a start-up company to a leading provider of Linux solutions, leaves the company after assembling a management team to lead Atipa's future strategic expansion in the growing Linux market."

"Since joining Atipa and immersing myself in the Linux industry, I have become even more convinced of the growth opportunities presented by Linux and Atipa's ability to seize those opportunities," said Keenan. "I believe we have assembled the talent, experience, and resources necessary to move to the next phase of growth and execute on our comprehensive business model."
