"In its continuing push to provide cyberspace with certified
Linux jockeys, Caldera Systems announced today that the first three
courses planned as part of its OpenLinux Solution Series are
complete and will be available beginning October 31, 2000."
"Other courses will be available by the end of this year,
according to a Caldera company release. The OpenLinux Solutions
Series was created to educate IT professionals in the deployment
and management of specialized servers for specific functions, such
as Web, Domain Name System (DNS)/Dynamic Host Configuration
Protocol (DHCP), Samba, firewall and application servers."
"This series addresses the needs and business interests of IT
professionals working with Linux," said David Acheson, director of
education for Caldera Systems, Inc. "We will provide solutions and
increase productivity in the organizations they serve. Caldera can
do it with high-quality curriculum and in less time."
