"Last week Sendmail and IBM announced a deal in which both companies will work together to provide Internet messaging solutions. With IBM recently launching its Linux-enabled eServer series, this agreement will focus on running Sendmail across the entire series with the intention of providing highly scalable messaging solutions for service providers and Web hosting companies."
"LinuxWorld.com.au caught up with Greg Olson, the chairman and co-founder of Sendmail, while he was in Sydney on business. "It's great to see that IBM are committed to Linux and the way they are working is very encouraging," said Olson. "We now have Sendmail running on the S/390 mainframe, which is very interesting to ASPs. We can now offer a complete mail hosting solution for Linux."
