Re-Imagining Linux Platforms to Meet the Needs of Cloud Service Providers
"In the continuation of a partnership between Big Blue and a
leading Linux provider, Turbolinux weighed in at LinuxWorld in New
York Tuesday with a new Server 6 for IBM's eServer z900 and S/390
"Turbolinux has also agreed to provide 24/7 call center support
and onsite professional services for IBM eServer z900 and S/390
customers through partnerships with services and solutions
organizations Linuxcare, Sytek Services and UTS Global."
"Both firms feel that putting Turbolinux's open source software
on IBM mainframes offers customers cost-effective options because
of faster access to enterprise data through a portfolio of Linux
applications that work with IBM middleware."
