"The uptake of Linux in the Australian enterprise continues at pace and is well ahead of Asian nations, according to figures from Gartner.

"A recent survey asked IT managers from about 1000 organisations in the Asia-Pacific region if they have Linux deployed somewhere in their organisation. Of those respondents, 52 per cent of Australian organisations have, up from the 39 per cent figure taken a year ago. Nations such as Singapore show a 31 per cent deployment and China had 20 per cent..."
