"Linux is becoming an increasingly popular choice for thin clients, and the open-source operating system could soon become the dominant terminal platform, according to Wyse Technology.

"Wyse, a leading supplier of thin-client hardware, last week introduced a range of terminals based on embedded Linux. Most of Wyse's current products use Microsoft's Windows CE or Windows XP Embedded (XPE).
