"Revenues fell and losses deepened for SCO Group during the company's final fiscal quarter, driven by changes to its operations, officials announced Tuesday.

"The company declared a net loss of $6.5 million for the fourth quarter, down from a loss of $1.4 million in the same period last year. In fiscal year 2004, the company reported a net loss of $23.4 million, compared to a net income of $5.4 million in 2003. Included in the net loss were charges related to a workforce reduction, a restructuring of continuing operations and the disposition of long-lived assets totaling $2.7 million, officials said..."

The first thing to jump off the page was this sentence: 'During the call, the company will only be providing a general update on the status of our pending litigation and cannot address evidence, rulings, strategies or other specific details.'

"SCO? SCO can't talk about its litigation? Since when? That's all they used to do in these conference calls. They even had David Boies attend one and make threatening noises about the DMCA.
