"Probably the two most important are the good integration with the desktop and the performance. That is, despite all it's features and components it still per forms very well and basically starts up instantly, working with it usually also works very well. KSpread has some difficulties with large spreadsheets though, it tends to get slow then. Another major reason for using KOffice is installation. Installing OpenOffice.org requires a large set of dependencies and if you do a build from source it takes much longer than KOffice..."
