"Venezuela's national IT institute CNTI expects to migrate 100%
of its community IT centers (Infocenters) to open source software
platforms before year-end, CNTI president Jorge Berrizbeitia told
"The institute has to date installed 331 Infocenters across the
country, and they are operated by 24 cooperatives. Migration to
open source officially began on Monday March 6, but there are 10
centers with the platform already installed for the purposes of
evaluation, Berrizbeitia said..."
