"I've had to learn this the hard way over the past couple of
months as I've been doing research on how to better market Linux.
It's come to me that marketing Linux as just an OS is like selling
a rock to someone in need of a boat. In other words, it's
effectively useless to someone, unless it can be used as a platform
onto which important applications they need can be run."
