mpg123; what caused you to go this route rather than a) developing
your own decoding engine or b) using another backend such as amp or

winamp crew about Nitrane :)). AMP is not GPL and have it's own
license, freeamp was not good enough at the moment. Anyone can make
an input plugin of these decoders if they like and use that. Or
write their own decoder as well if they like."
