"Dunedin City Council is adding Linux to the list of possible candidates for a network upgrade.

"In April the council said it was weighing up either Windows XP or 2000 if it replaced its Novell network. Linux has now been added to the short list.

"'We are looking at all the options. We have installations of Linux, XP and 2000. We have experience of all of them,' says client support manager Grant Taylor..."
