"Q: At the beginning of the Summer of Code there was some
chatter in Google's public boards about participants having trouble
with getting forms in and other such legal issues. Are some of
those issues going to be addressed next year in a different way if
you go ahead with another Summer of Code?
"I don't know if we'll deal with them in a different way, but I
think we'll be a lot more clear.
"We had 49 different countries represented in the student body
that we had and some of the tax issues were pretty vexing for them.
I think that next year will be a little easier. The fact of the
matter is taxes are complicated..."
