"A relatively quiet New Year's (I think everyone is finally
getting over their hangovers). Some excitement on Bugtraq, several
advisories released, but they all turned out to be old data or
otherwise incorrect (plain bogus, in other words). It seems APT
with RPM is picking up steam; Conectiva has been using it for
several weeks...."
"We lead off with general advisories and exploit code, then move
to vendor advisories. Most items appear in alphabetical order. If
we're missing a Linux vendor's advisory, please tell us - ditto for
any Linux-related security alerts. The long strings of hex in front
of package names are MD5 signatures."
