"Today from their studios in Aurora Illinois, well
known GNU/Linux and Open Source Community broadcaster, GeekCast
Network, called for a boycott of the Disney Corporation in reaction
to Disney's participation in drafting the SSSCA legislation.

broadcast, The Linux Show!!
Jeff Gerhardt co-host of The Linux Show stated the position of
the organization, "In the past, here at The Linux Show we have been

'Therefore,' continued Gerhardt, "noting this political will,

creation of the Security Systems Standards and Certification Act"
(SSSCA) legislation. This legislation will MANDATE All software and
digital devices to include federally-mandated copy-prevention

are being put forward as a reaction to the recent tragedy. We all
understand the need for security, but lets not throw away our
freedoms in the process."
