BlueProximity works via these assumptions to decide when to lock or unlock your screen. When you leave your computer, the Bluetooth signal gets weaker until it crosses a threshold, and your desktop is locked. When you return to your computer, the signal gets stronger until it crosses a different threshold, and the computer automatically unlocks.
