“Every day with my morning coffee I read the news. Logs sent to
me from network computers informing me of who’s been doing what.
Using these informative bits of news I can report potential
cracking attempts to ISPs (Internet Service Providers) and find out
whether someone is seriously attempting to take over my systems or
just if someones home computer has a virus that’s trying to
replicate itself. Most ISPs and Network Admins are pretty good
about tracking and stopping crack attempts, but I don’t expect them
to stop trying. For one, it’s no fun, the morning news gets boring.
For another, if they’re not trying to break into systems, what are
they doing?
