“Computer Associates International, Inc. (CA) today announced
that it has extended the functionality of its comprehensive eTrust
Access Control for Unix solution to support Red Hat Linux. By
protecting critical business and IT resources, the newest eTrust
offering will serve as an indispensable tool for users of the Linux
operating system, which has emerged as a leading platform for
mission-critical applications and Web-based commerce.”

“eTrust Access Control protects critical data and eBusiness
applications with comprehensive security policies that prohibit
unauthorized access. The advanced technology allows organizations
to manage user access privileges centrally through a comprehensive
graphical user interface, quickly deploy preconfigured baseline
security privileges, and secure access to server-based resources
throughout the entire organization. eTrust Access Control also
features profile groups, allowing users to conveniently implement
security policies based on role or group membership.”
