ClamAV is a free and open-source, cross-platform antivirus which is quite popular among Linux users. If you're wondering, Wait, isn't Linux supposed to be secure?  then the grim answer is that pretty much nothing in the world which runs code on it is a hundred percent secure and exploit-proof. Linux may not need as much protection as some other operating systems out there, but protection is always useful, especially when we are running public servers, in which case we also have an ethical obligation to keep our customers safe by not letting our servers be passive carriers of malware.
