"VA Linux Systems, the world's Linux leader, today announced that Ali Jenab has joined VA Linux as Senior Vice President and General Manager of its Systems Division. Mr. Jenab will report directly to Dr. Larry M. Augustin, president and CEO of VA Linux Systems, and will assume responsibility for engineering, operations and product marketing. Gregg Zehr, vice president of engineering, and Daniel Shore, vice president of operations, will report to Mr. Jenab."
"A seventeen-year veteran of Amdahl Corporation, Ali Jenab served most recently as Group President of Amdahl's Technology Division. Prior to being named Group President, Mr. Jenab held several executive positions at Amdahl, including Vice President of Strategic Business and Vice President of Systems Marketing, responsible for marketing S/390, UNIX and NT server and storage products."
