A couple of days ago, Linus Torvalds announced the release of the Linux 4.7 kernel, and we were very curious to know which distribution will be the first to adopt it. Well, it didn't take long for the SparkyLinux devs to push the new Linux 4.7 kernel in the unstable repositories, but it looks like Clear Linux now uses it in the stable ones. As Linux kernel 4.7 is not an LTS (Long Term Support) one, Clear Linux developers inform their users that if they want to use a long-term supported kernel, they can continue to stay on the LTS channel.
