Remix IO is an all-in-one device that can be dubbed as a TV set-top box powerful enough to play 4K movies, an office or home PC, as well as a gaming console. Jide Technology exclusively launched Remix IO today on Kickstarter, and it's available for pre-order worldwide for only $99 USD (~???90). Best of all, Remix IO is powered by Remix OS, which is now based on the latest Android 7.0 "Nougat" Linux-based mobile operating system from Google. We bet that right now you're probably wondering what exactly you'll get for $99 USD, so we'd like to tell you that Remix IO boasts an RK3368 Octa-Core 64bit ARM Cortex-A53 processor running at 1.5GHz, a PowerVR SGX6110 graphics card, 2GB DDR3L RAM, 16GB storage, which can be expanded to up to 128GB thanks to the MicroSD card support. Connectivity-wise, Remix IO offers four USB Type-A 2.0 ports, one HDMI 2.0 port that outputs streams up to 4K at 60fps, a VGA port, an Ethernet port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
