Canonical are staying true to the promise of LTS with Precise Pangolin, the latest version of Ubuntu. Yesterday saw the release of Ubuntu 12.04.1 right on schedule, the first of four planned updates to 12.04 over the next few years. As well as the usual updates to software and packages that have occurred during the distribution’s first four months of life, there’s also some new features.
