Happy Friday from LinuxToday.com. We’ve made a couple of small layout and publishing tweaks we hope will make reading Linux Today easier when using a feed reader like Feedly or Feeder.co.
FIXED: More Readable Complete Story Link
What a difference four pixels makes! The Complete Story link that takes you to the site carrying the entire contributed story has been both embiggened and emboldened so it’s easier to find whether you’re accessing us on our desktop site or with a feed reader app.
Please note that we’re still working on getting the Complete Story link similarly upsized on on mobile.linux.today upsized and should have that fixed very soon.
FIXED: Some Stories Don’t Contain a Link to the Source Site
Some stories we’ve published don’t contain a link to their source site. In investigating this, we found that stories filed in www.linuxtoday.com/blog had no Complete Story link in the page template. We will be doing redirects over the next few days so that all stories published on LinuxToday.
Here’s how to make sure you can connect with all of our contributor’s stories. If your RSS reader is subscribed to https://www.linuxtoday.com/rss/blog.xml please change that feed to https://www.linuxtoday.com/rss.xml.
Many thanks to Linux Today reader Barry W. for bringing these items to our attention.
Have a great weekend everybody!
