Thanks to Harald Alvestrand for this report.

The Linux Counter, the only registration site for Linux users in general on the Web, passed 100.000 registered users this week. Holding steady at perhaps 1% of the total Linux community, this website is one of the most long-lived Linux projects.

It remains to be seen whether its new organization and attempts at technology updates can make it reflect more of current Linux reality.

If you haven't yet registered yourself as a Linux user, take a minute to visit Linux Counter and register yourself.
