"Please put this in LinuxToday, cause this meeting is important in Italy and this Italian LUG exists since 1992.

"Kernel develeper A. Arcangeli will have a talk, as many other Italian Linux users and developers (Debian, Gnome...)."

The announcement in Italian:

Per eventuali comunicazioni o richieste rivolgersi all'indirizzo segreteria@pluto.linux.it.

The announcement in English:

"Pluto Linux User Group is proud to announce that the Pluto Meeting 1999 will take place in Padova, Italy on the 24th and 25th of September. The meeting will be hosted by the University of Padova (DEI), and will be structured on one day dedicated to Linux professionals and one dedicated to terminal users. Among the speakers will be personalities of the Linux international community, as Andrea Arcangeli, kernel developer, and professionals of the Linux world.

The meeting, as always, will be free and open to everybody; however, a pre-registration on the web or at the address segreteria@pluto.linux.it is recommended. The meeting schedule and other info are available at http://meeting.pluto.linux.it, or mailing at segreteria@pluto.linux.it.

Pluto, recoursively defined as ``Pluto Linux/Lumen Utentibus Terrarum Orbis'', was born in 1992 as the effort of some students and teachers at the Department of Electonics and Computer Science at the University of Padova. This group has grown exponentially, reaching all Italy corners. It's also the largest italian LUG (Linux User Group).
