"The product will be known as OpenOffice, and will be hosted on openoffice.org. Sun will release the StarOffice source code on
October 13 under an Open Source license, via CVS. Why 10/18? It crucial for that first code drop to be compilable and runnable, and
it's not right now. The Oct date should allow enough time to accomplish this. Further, they're isolating dependencies between apps
and modules to allow people to grok the code in sections, instead of the monolithic structure that now exists."
