"It seems that it's hard wired into us... many of us anyway... the fine ability to skillfully procrastinate. To take our deadlines and responsibilities to the 'disaster threshold' then in a flurry, dispatch the task as if it were some insolent heckler doubting our ability to finish on time. I have not bothered to analyze why, but it seems that the 'geekiest' of my friends and professional associates fit into this catagory. It is these people I would ask to pay particular attention.

"In spite of our technical talents and skills... despite enviable abilities to add our individual accomplishments to the Greatest Mass Effort since the Kibbutz; there is something astounding we have missed... something equally astounding as This Thing we give to the world.
