"Building on the success we had last year, SCALE 8x will have a total of 5 speaker tracks. These include the two specialized tracks:

"(i) beginners’ track

"(ii) developers’ track

"as well as the three existing tracks that we have every year. In this way we will be catering to our growing attendee constituency whose spectrum of interest spans from newbies all the way to the power users all of whom are trying to enhance their understanding of Linux/Open Source Software (OSS).

"Continuing our efforts to promote and educate the public about open source, we invite you to share your work on Free/Open Source projects with the rest of the community as well as exchange ideas with some leading experts in these fields. Details about previous editions of SCALE can be found at http://www.socallinuxexpo.org/scale8x/past-events

"We have listed some topics of interest below, with the caveat that depending on the talk content, any of the topics mentioned below could fit into any of the program tracks, including beginners and developers."
