“This is the home page of the Open Source and Free Software
Developer’s European Meeting (OSDEM in short :-), an event that
will take place in Brussels on saturday 3rd and sunday 4th
february. We chose this date so it is right after the LinuxWorld
Conference and Expo in Paris, which will be held until friday 2nd
february. People present in Paris shouldn’t find it difficult to
come over in Brussels (1h20 in Thalys!).”

“The OSDEM is meant to be an event during which open source
developers can meet, exchange idea, present their upcoming
software. If you are a developer, you should be interested as it
will make you meet fellow programmers in real life. So, what’s the
program going to be? Well, it’s up to you to send us your
suggestions 🙂 Here’s what we plan, but it is very customisable to
your needs and will 🙂 …”

“A mailing list is available so that all people interested to
participate can share their thoughts and ideas. It’s also a good
place to try to arrange your travel to Brussels with other
developers, and to stay up to date about the event.”
