Linux Mint 16 KDE Edition Release Candidate Uses KDE 4.11

Being based on Ubuntu 13.10 (Saucy Salamander) and using the latest Petra technologies, Linux Mint 16 RC KDE is built on top of the stable KDE 4.11 desktop environment, it is powered by Linux kernel 3.11, and includes the MDM (Mint Display Manager) 1.4 application. Among the highlights of Linux Mint 16 RC KDE we can mention the Samba Mounter application for easily mounting network shares, USB Stick Formatter application for easily formating USB flash drives to EXT4, FAT32 and NTFS filesystems, an updated Software Manager app, better EFI support, safer kernel updates, better support for Steam, better help support, as well as lots of performance improvements.
