GLib 2.36.4 Fixes a Major Issue with the EXT4 Filesystem

GLib 2.36.4 is a stable release that fixes an issue with the EXT4 filesystem, which makes it unsafe to omit a call to fsync() when doing atomic replaces, as per g_file_set_contents(). GLib 2.36.4 also introduces various improvements for the win32 platform, as well as a patch for GNetworkMonitor, which failed to detect the network connection with some VPN configurations.
