enjoyed watching the desktop mature to a point where I wouldn’t
hesitate to tell anyone it rivals the market leader. Commercial
Linux distributors continue to make improvements in streamlining
and integrating the many desktop products available in the open
source world. Installations are becoming user friendly,
applications continue to mature, the future for the Linux desktop
looks very bright indeed.
