“Canonical, through Lars Anderson, announced last evening,
December 21st, the immediate availability for download of the
Ubuntu In-Vehicle Infotainment IVI Remix operating
system.“Ubuntu IVI Remix is an In-Vehicle Infotainment operating
system, based on Ubuntu 11.04 (Natty Narwhal) and supports Intel
and ARM processors. The final release will be available to car
makers in Q1 2012.”
